We ran an information stand and raffle in the canteen at Wandsworth Council over Fairtrade Fortnight. The staff were really positive about Fairtrade and interested to learn more about the latest Fairtrade products to hit the shelves and where they could buy them in Wandsworth. Staff made pledges to swap one of their usual purchases for the Fairtrade alternative over the fortnight and stuck their pledges to the giant banana!

Group members were on hand over the 2 days to answer questions about Fairtrade in Wandsworth, gain support for the local campaign by asking residents to sign postcards to be sent to Wandsworth council asking for support, and of course assist with the free Fairtrade ice cream tasting!!
The event is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness generally about Fairtrade and speak to local residents.
Alice, the Hatter and friends would love you to come along and help celebrate all the goodness of fairtrade drinks, cookies and other edible goodies alongside a fine selection of art and craft lovingly fabricated by local artisans.
