Buying fairly traded products ensures that third world producers receive a fair price for their goods. All goods marked with the Fairtrade label are certified by the Fairtrade Foundation. This ensures that not only do the producers receive a fair and stable price for their goods but they are also paid a premium that must be invested in a community project (such as building a school, clinic or well etc).
